Why CIPs Must Not Receive Cash
Zero-tolerance payment protocol.
CIPs must never receive customer premiums directly. This includes cash, personal M-Pesa, staff numbers, bank transfers, or any unofficial method.
Direct all customers to automated verification channels such as STK Push, official Paybill, or official merchant Till.
Non-compliance can lead to policy cancellation, earnings hold, account restriction, permanent suspension, and customer disputes.
If a customer insists on cash, guide them to the nearest official channel instead of paying for them from your own phone.
